Lower limb alignment and joint morphology assessment is an important part of orthopedic imaging analysis. Using full-length lower limb X-ray images, physicians need to comprehensively analyze the positional relationships of the hip, knee, and ankle joints, as well as the anatomical axes, mechanical axes, and joint lines of the femur and tibia. Combined with multiple angular and distance parameters, these findings are used to quantitatively assess lower limb alignment and joint morphology.
In traditional measurement, key anatomical landmarks such as the hip, knee, and ankle must be manually identified, followed by the drawing of corresponding anatomical axes, mechanical axes, and joint orientation lines and the calculation of individual parameters. With numerous measurement items involved, the overall process is relatively complex and time-consuming.
To meet the needs of lower limb imaging assessment, the system uses AI algorithms to automatically identify key anatomical landmarks in X-ray images and automatically generate relevant measurement lines based on the recognition results. It intelligently calculates lower limb alignment and joint parameters across the hip, knee, and ankle. By automating landmark identification, measurement line generation, and parameter calculation, the system helps physicians quickly obtain standardized quantitative measurement results, providing support for lower limb alignment and joint morphology assessment.
| Lower Limb Alignment Assessment | By automatically identifying key anatomical landmarks of the hip, knee, and ankle, it calculates lower limb alignment parameters such as HKA, MAD, and MA, assisting physicians in evaluating overall lower limb alignment and deviation, and providing quantitative evidence for imaging assessment of lower limb alignment abnormalities such as genu varum and genu valgum. |
| Knee Joint Morphology Assessment | It automatically calculates knee-related parameters such as mLDFA, aLDFA, MPTA, and JLCA, performing quantitative analysis from multiple dimensions including the distal femur, proximal tibia, and joint line, to assist in evaluating knee joint alignment and morphology. |
| Hip Joint and Femoral Parameter Assessment | By automatically identifying key points related to the hip joint and femur, it calculates parameters such as aMPFA, mLPFA, aMFA, and NSA, assisting physicians in quantitative assessment of proximal femoral morphology, femoral axis, and hip-related structures. |
| Lower Limb Deformity Assessment | Combining parameters of the lower limb mechanical axis, anatomical axis, and joint line, it quantitatively analyzes overall lower limb alignment and hip-knee-ankle joint arrangement, providing objective parameter evidence for imaging assessment of lower limb deformities. |
| Preoperative Assessment and Postoperative Follow-up | In the preoperative assessment of lower limb deformities and knee-related diseases, multiple parameters can be comprehensively analyzed to evaluate the patient's lower limb alignment and joint morphology, providing auxiliary reference for physicians in preoperative assessment and treatment planning. During treatment and postoperative follow-up, parameter results at different time points can be compared to assist in observing changes in lower limb alignment and joint arrangement. |
